About us

SAF Housing is a provider of funding, finance and investment solutions which meet the needs of social housing providers and institutional investors.

The company manages the Houses4Homes Real Estate Investment Trust* "the H4H REIT", which provides funding for supported accommodation to people with exceptional levels of need.

The H4H REIT* works with a number of authorities and housing providers to build portfolios, both with live stock and shovel ready schemes. 

We focus on the costs of financing bricks and mortar, driving down the cost of borrowing to the very lowest levels possible and on terms that finance only the interest element rather than the entire capital cost.

Our mission is to reduce the cost of housing, without compromising on standards quality or choice, whilst at the same time providing a safe and ethical fund for institutional and private investors.

The key to our mutual success

We work in partnership with local authorities and housing providers to meet a substantial funding gap in the UK's supported housing provision.

We blend exceptional commercial acumen with philanthropic motives and sustainable, ethical business practices. In turn, we hope to engender peace of mind to the service users, commissioners and the tax payer.

*The H4H REIT is currently utilising interim finance in readiness for a REIT transfer of housing stock and public listing at the London Stock Exchange in Autumn 2012
